About Dr. Glatz
Dr. Glatz was born in Chicago in 1953. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois in 1975. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1979. He received training in dental implants at the Brånemark Clinic in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1990. He has served as a clinical instructor in Fixed Prosthodontic at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and as a guest lecturer in implant dentistry at Northwestern University. Dr. Glatz has authored two articles on dental implants in Dentistry Today. Dr. Glatz opened his dental practice in Springfield in 1979. He was named "Best Dentist" in the 1996 Illinois Times Reader's Poll. Dr. Glatz and his wife Julie have 3 children; Anne, Robb and Ashley. When not providing dental treatment, Dr. Glatz can be found tending his vegetable garden, assisting his wife in teaching RealCuisine cooking classes or playing with his music combo, Touch of Grey.
